But, that’s not all; we all know what clogged pores mean: blackheads, whiteheads and acne. Carbon Laser Facial is also effective in tightening pores and encouraging collagen growth. Collagen is the protein that keeps skin young, so naturally, you want to have LOTS of it!! But, as we age, collagen is depleted, giving skin the appearance of being dull, dry and rough and of pores being larger. By tightening pores, with the Carbon Laser Facial, the skin’s vibrancy and glow are renewed. Carbon Laser Facial helps with: Reducing fine lines and wrinkles Reducing acne scars and discolouration caused by acne Removing dead skin cells from the superficial layer Improving skin texture Reducing oil secretion Restoring the skin's integrity and radiance Clearing pores to help reduce blackheads and whiteheads Your skin type, medical history and medication will be checked during your consultation to make sure that you are suitable for treatment. A test patch will also be carried out during your initial visit to ensure no adverse skin reaction will occur. Your first full treatment cannot be carried out until the patch test has been reviewed by your practitioner after 1 day. All Carbon Laser Facials are recommended to be spaced out every 1-4 weeks. This gives your skin ample time to produce additional collagen and elastin. The more treatments performed the better the long-term results in reducing both pore size and minimising wrinkles but can also be a one-off treatment before a special occasion. |
